Wellcare Group has raised QR 100,000 for the treatment of Malkha Rouhi, a four-month-old baby diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type-1.
The funds were handed over to Qatar Charity.
Malkha Rouhi’s condition has captured the hearts of many with her courageous battle against this rare disease. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Wellcare Group launched an initiative to rally support from its employees, the company said in a press release.
The company successfully raised the targeted amount of QR 100,000.
