Temperatures rise across Qatar; Abu Samra records highest at 43°C

The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has released its latest temperature update, revealing a significant spike in heat levels across various regions of the country, with some areas crossing the 40°C mark.
Abu Samra experienced the highest temperature in the nation yesterday, hitting a scorching 43°C, while also recording a nighttime low of 23°C.
Doha, the capital, saw a high of 35°C and a low of 25°C. Lusail followed closely with temperatures ranging between 34°C and 23°C. Wakrah experienced a relatively milder day with a maximum of 29°C and a low of 24°C. Meanwhile, Al Khor registered a high of 39°C and the low of 22°C.
With rising temperatures marking the transition into the hotter months, QMD has urged residents to stay hydrated, avoid direct sunlight during peak hours, and take necessary precautions to stay safe in the heat.
