September marks start of autumn and chances of rain: QMD

The Qatar Meteorology Department has released its latest weather report, saying September is the first month of autumn and a transitional period between summer and winter.

The weather in Doha is expected to gradually become milder throughout September, with an increase in relative humidity. The department also forecasts a rise in cloud formations, with a possibility of rain that could turn thundery, particularly in the afternoons and the prevailing winds during this period will be easterly, ranging from light to moderate in speed.
