Published: 1 December 2024

DOHA: Muslims around the world are awaiting the date of the holy month of Ramadan, as there are about three months left until the advent of the holy month for the year 2025.

Astronomical calculations have revealed that the month of Ramadan is expected to begin on Friday, February 28 or Saturday, March 1, and will last for 29 or 30 days, Al Sharq has reported.

However, Arab and Islamic countries will decide the start of the holy month after observing the crescent moon of Ramadan on the twenty-ninth of Sha’ban, which is the Arabic month preceding Ramadan.
