Thrissur Government Engineering College Alumni Association in Doha – QGET organized a writing workshop for members and their families to promote writing and reading. The ‘Thoolika’, held in Doha on Friday, was led by Malayalam teacher and author Smitha Adarsh.
Inaugurating the event, QGET General Secretary Gopu Rajasekhar introduced the pen and literary competitions organized by QGET. Treasurer Varghese spoke about the workshop and its objectives and introduced Smitha Adarsh.
Gopu Rajasekhar and Shahna Zubair, who are in charge of ‘Thoolika’ Workshop and Arts Festival, presided over the programme. The stage of ‘Ezhuthu Kalari’ (Workshop on Writing) was prepared under the supervision of MC members Amjad V and Lakshmi Sreedharan.
Senior member Naseer M.M. presented QGET memento to Smitha Adarsh and Gopu Rajasekhar expressed the vote of thanks.
