Qatar to supply Kuwait 200 MW of electricity

The Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai revealed that the State of Kuwait has received approval from
Qatar will supply Kuwait 200 megawatts of electricity next month, the Kuwaiti media have reported.

The local Al-Rai newspaper quoted sources as saying that the total amount that the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy in Kuwait will import from the Gulf network will reach 500 megawatts, after a similar approval from the Sultanate of Oman to supply it 300 megawatts.

Sources told the daily that the Kuwaiti Ministry had received approval regarding Qatar’s willingness to supply Kuwait with 200 megawatts during the month of June, and renewable during the months of July and August.
