Qatar player survives traffic accident hours after winning Asian Cup 2023

Doha: Qatar national team player, Jassim Jaber, was involved in a serious traffic accident hours after Al-Annabi won the 2023 Asian Cup title for the second time in a row in a thrilling match at Lusail Stadium, Al Sharq reports.

Details of the accident indicate that the player’s car collided with another car due to bad weather conditions and heavy rains in Doha. Qatar had experienced moderate to heavy rains on the night of the final match.

Although the car was severely damaged, the player emerged unscathed without suffering any injuries and did not need any medical intervention, according to a report in the Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed website.
