Qatar participates in Global Forum for Food and Agriculture in Berlin

Berlin: The State of Qatar took part in the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture; the Berlin Agriculture Ministers’ Conference, which was held under the theme “Food Systems of the Future – Together for a World without Hunger”, and the International Green Week fair, which showcases a wide range of fresh products from all over the world.

Minister of Municipality H E Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah headed Qatar’s delegation to the events.
The three-day Global Forum for Food and Agriculture, which concluded in Berlin with the participation of agricultural ministers from 70 countries, discussed the role of trade in securing sufficient food for the world’s population, the importance of transparency in the food supply chain, and the impact of free trade on agriculture and rural development.

The International Green Week is an international event that showcases a wide range of fresh products from all over the world. From luxury items to agricultural and horticultural machinery, visitors can find everything they need for their gardens and outdoor spaces.
