Qatar meteorologists predict rains in the next few days

Doha: The Qatar Meteorology Department has predicted moderate to heavy rainfall across the country over the next few days.

According to the department’s report released on Monday, the weather is anticipated to be partly cloudy to cloudy starting from Tuesday evening and persisting throughout the weekend with chances of rain in
some areas, peaking from Wednesday evening until Thursday afternoon, May 1-2, 2024.

The rainfall is expected to be moderate to heavy in intensity, with the possibility of thunderstorms in certain areas accompanied by sudden strong winds.

The Meteorological Department has urged residents and visitors to exercise caution during the inclement weather conditions. It further said everyone must stay informed by relying on official sources for weather updates.
