DOHA: Qatar Charity (QC) has launched the ‘Sudan Appeal’  campaign to extend a helping hand for the displaced and those affected by war in Sudan, amid the worst displacement crisis in the world.

The campaign aims to provide food baskets to 550,000 people, containing essential food items to meet the needs of affected families, thereby addressing hunger among displaced children and families.

And Mobile sanitation units will be provided for 200,000 people in affected areas to prevent disease outbreaks, ensuring easy access for displaced persons, taking into consideration those with special needs and elderly individuals.

Additionally, QC is working to provide healthcare and treatment for 200,000 patients, in addition to improving healthcare services in different regions.
