Noble International School unveils new state-of-the-art campus at Al Wukair

DOHA: The new state-of-the-art campus of Noble International School (NIS) at Al-Wukair (South) will be inaugurated on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 5:00 PM, marking a significant milestone in the school’s journey of providing quality education for the last 17 years, the school officials announced at a press conference on Wednesday.

The inauguration ceremony will be attended by dignitaries, including representatives from Qatar’s ministries and the Indian Embassy, and will also coincide with a cultural extravaganza that will showcase performances by more than 1,300 students, ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees and creating a festive atmosphere for the community.

The new campus has facilities to accommodate more than 2,000 students and classes will commence at the new campus in January, 2025. “Students from the existing campus at Abu Hamour will be shifted to the new campus at Al Wukair,” Shibu Abdul Rasheed said.

When asked if the new campus will see an increase in tuition fees, Shibu said the fee will be less than what the Ministry of Education and Higher Education had approved for the new campus, and will be affordable for all parents.

The press conference, held at the new campus, was attended by NIS Chief Patron Ali Jassim KJ Al Malki, Chairman Hussain Muhammad, General Secretary Basheer K P, Finance Director Shoukath Ali Taj, Vice Chairman Adv. Abdu Rahim Kunnummal, Principal Shibu Abdul Rasheed and Vice Principal Jayamon Joy.

“The purpose-built campus boasts cutting-edge facilities aimed at fostering academic and personal development. The new campus has been thoughtfully designed to offer an advanced educational environment, featuring spacious smart classrooms to facilitate enhanced learning experiences, state-of-the-art laboratories for science and technology, a vast library to inspire a passion for reading and research, a swimming pool, sports facilities to promote physical development, and a multipurpose hall for events and cultural activities, accompanied by playgrounds and athletic tracks,” the school officials said.

“The project was built at a cost of QR72 million and among the state-of-the-art facilities include treated fresh air in classrooms to ensure a holistic and enjoyable learning experience for students,” Finance Director Shoukath Ali Taj said.

The school has extended an open invitation to parents and community members to attend the inauguration ceremony.
