Musawah hosts inspiring Iftar celebration

DOHA: Musawah Innovative Women’s Domain hosted an inspiring Iftar celebration at She Kitchen Restaurant, bringing together over 100 women leaders and community members for an evening of reflection, learning, and networking.

The event began with a welcome address by Chairperson Noorjahan Faizal, followed by an enlightening Ramadan message from Thayyiba Arshad (Women India Qatar) on life after the holy month. Abida Subair (ICC Women’s Forum) delivered an empowering Women’s Day message focused on building confidence in women.

Dr Nooruliza from Naseem Medical Center led a health talk on women’s wellness, debunking myths spread via social media, and engaging participants in a highly interactive session.

Fathimath Jazeela, host of the Quran Quiz on Radio Malayalam 98.6 FM, conducted a live quiz that captivated attendees. This was followed by the unveiling of Musawah’s Ramadan E-Magazine cover page, Radiance – Ramadan Reflections, Her Insights.

Vice Chairperson Latha Nair further inspired the audience with a message on the importance of financial independence for women. The evening’s highlight was the felicitation of the winners of the 2025 Ramadan Quiz.

The registration was efficiently managed by Wahida Nazeer, while the food arrangements were handled by Reshmi Santhosh, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Program Coordinator Aparna Ranish, followed by a networking Iftar session and dinner, fostering a strong sense of community and unity among the participants.
