MoI organizes blood donation campaign for employees

The Medical Services Department at the Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the Qatar National Blood Donation Center, part of Hamad Medical Corporation, organized a blood donation campaign for the ministry’s employees.

The campaign took place at the department’s headquarters and the Police Academy Clinic from August 6-8, 2024. The aim of the campaign was to enhance the blood supply at the Qatar National Blood Donation Center to meet the demands of emergency cases.

Colonel Salem Saeed Al Rashidi, Director of the Medical Services Department, emphasized that this campaign reflects the department’s commitment to social responsibility and raising awareness among community members about the value and importance of blood donation, given its crucial role in saving lives and supporting the humanitarian efforts of Hamad Medical Corporation in this field.
