MOI announces auction of significant vehicle numbers on Sooum App

The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has officially announced the auction of new significant numbers, set to be released on the Sooum app’s ‘Show Interest’ window starting Tuesday, 25 February 2025, at 8:00 AM. The announcement was made via the ministry’s official X account.

As per the process outlined by MOI, interested individuals can select their preferred significant num-ber, pay the required deposit, and wait for the specified period of 48 hours. If only one person expresses interest in a number, it will be sold at the quoted price. However, if multiple individuals show interest, an internal bidding process will take place among them.

Following the 48-hour period, those who have paid the security deposit will enter a closed auction, which will last for 24 hours. If a new bid is placed within the last moments of the auction, it will be au-tomatically extended by 15 minutes to allow fair competition.

This initiative aims to provide a transparent and structured method for acquiring significant numbers through the Sooum app. Interested individuals are encouraged to participate through the designated platform to secure their desired numbers.
