MoECC rehabilitates Umm Al-Sahnat meadow

In a major initiative, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) has completed the rehabilitation and fencing process of the Umm Al-Sahnat meadow in the northeast of the State of Qatar, which has an area of 232,148 square metres.

The area is distinguished by its clay soil and the softness of its land. The Umm Al-Sahnat meadow also has a special environmental and social importance for the citizens, which made it their destination during the spring, especially since it includes wild trees such as wild cedar, samar, and bramble, in addition to a number of plants, including ramaram, and jata.
