Meraki Mesdames Qatar (MMQ), an active women’s initiative in Qatar, recently held a cultural fiesta at Blue Galaxy Hall, Nuaija, celebrating Eid, Easter, and Vishu.
The event showcased over 20 cultural programmes performed by children and adults, reflecting the rich diversity and artistic talents within the community. More than 250 members attended the celebrations.
A special performance by the Bangladesh community organisation ANANNA kids was a highlight of the programme.

The event was presided over by Thasleena Jaleel, with significant contributions from Vice President Shifna Aboobacker, Treasurer Seba, and executive members Thancy, Shamla Ali, Shamla Jahfar, Naeema Ali, Selika Amjad, Shalna Shaji, Rabeeba Anwar, Salwa, and Shabna Suneej.
The evening was a blend of various cultural expressions, including dance performances, musical acts, and other artistic displays. The programmes highlighted the unique traditions and festivities of Eid, Easter, and Vishu, providing a platform for both children and adults to showcase their talents and celebrate their heritage.
A sumptuous dinner followed the performances. The event was made possible through the generous support of Title Sponsor Al Qyrat Jewellers, Associate Sponsor Tea Stop, and co-sponsors Ansar Tea, Nellara, and Colosseum, the organisers said.
