Ministry publishes list of 10 beaches with facilities for individuals and families

The Ministry of Municipality has published a list of a number of beaches equipped with a range of services and facilities that suit individuals, families and women, calling on the public to visit them and spend happy times while maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of the beaches.
The most prominent beaches included in the Ministry of Municipality’s list provide a number of services, including a walkway, lighting, playgrounds, toilets, umbrellas, seating areas, children’s areas, and barbecue facilities.
The ministry said on its account on X platform: “The Ministry of Municipality welcomes the honorable public to visit Qatar’s beaches, which are equipped with many services and facilities in order to spend happy times.”
Important beaches are:
- Sealine Public Beach , which has a walkway, toilets, showers, umbrellas and seating.
- Ras Abu Aboud Beach 947, which provides a walkway, kiosks, lighting, a prayer room, toilets, umbrellas and seating, green spaces, and a beach ball.
- Al-Kharaij Beach (public) has a walkway, lighting, playgrounds, toilets, barbecue areas, children’s areas, umbrellas and seating.
- Al Ghariya Beach (for families) has walkway, playgrounds, restaurant kiosks, lighting, toilets, umbrellas and seating.
- Al-Malha Beach (for women only) has restaurant kiosks, lighting, toilets and bathrooms, umbrellas and seating, and barbecue areas.
- Simaisma Beach (for families) has playgrounds, walkway, lighting, prayer room, toilets, umbrellas and seating, children’s areas, barbecue areas, and green spaces.
- Al Wakra Public Beach has playgrounds, a walkway, restaurant kiosks, lighting, a prayer room, toilets, umbrellas and seating.
- Al Wakra Beach for families has playgrounds, walkway, lighting, prayer room, toilets, umbrellas and seating, children’s areas.
- Al-Farqiya Beach (families) has playgrounds, a walkway, restaurant kiosks, lighting, a prayer room, toilets, children’s areas, umbrellas and seating.
- Safa Al Touq Beach (families) has a walkway with restaurant kiosks, lighting, toilets, umbrellas and seating, children’s areas, and green spaces.
