Ministry of Interior extends 50% discount on traffic fines by three months

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced the extension of a 50% discount on traffic fines by three months. The announcement, made via the MoI’s official X account, confirmed that the discount will be available from September 1, 2024, until November 30, 2024.
The discount applies to all vehicles, including those owned by citizens, residents, and visitors, as well as citizens and residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. It will cover traffic violations recorded within the past three years, providing a valuable opportunity for individuals to settle their fines at a reduced rate.
The Ministry urged all affected parties to take advantage of the extended discount period to clear their fines and avoid potential disruptions to travel plans.
