Residents can expect milder and cooler weather conditions throughout the month of October.
The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD), under the Civil Aviation Authority, shared the update on their official account on X, outlining the forecast for Doha and the surrounding areas.

As October marks the second month of autumn, the QMD highlighted an increased likelihood of cumulus cloud formation, particularly in the afternoons. Fog may also develop during the early mornings, especially in inland regions. The weather is predicted to become more pleasant, with milder temperatures making outdoor activities more enjoyable.

Winds are expected to be variable, blowing mainly from the northwest to the northeast. The land and sea breeze phenomenon will also become more prominent throughout the month.

Historically, October temperatures in Doha have fluctuated. The daily mean temperature averages around 29.8°C, with the lowest temperature ever recorded at 16.6°C in 1975, and the highest at 43.4°C in 1967.
This forecast suggests a shift from the intense summer heat, bringing more comfortable conditions for residents and visitors.
