Doha: A preview show was organized by the Mohanlal Cultural and Welfare Association of Qatar for the film Malai Kottai Valiban, which screened at Novo Cinemas on January 25.
The event for movie buffs turned out to be a huge success, according to the organisers.
The movie features the legendary actor Mohanlal as an unbeatable warrior with a rootless existence who travels from town to town, defeating every opponent he encounters.
The chief guest for the evening was Hariprasanth Varma, who played an opponent to the hero in the beginning of the movie. The guest was welcomed with Chenda Melam, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony and was presented with a memento by MFCWA Qatar Committee President Deepak.
An enthralling dance performance combining the superhit songs of Mohanlal by members of Thrissur Arts Centre received an enthusiastic response from the audience.
The committee headed by Secretary Akhil was praised for its seamless organization by the attendees, marking the immense success of the programme.
The premiere was attended by distinguished guests, including Bijesh, a senior cardiologist at American Hospital and a hardcore fan of Mohanlal, along with eminent persons from various social and cultural associations like Dr. Rupa, Anwar Paleri, News Trail representatives, sponsors, and others. Akbar Ali and Manju Manoj were the anchors.
