DOHA: The Meraki Mesdames Qatar (MMQ) organized a splendid family iftar at the Calicut Chef Restaurant in Mansoura recently, which was attended by more than 200 people.
A highlight of the evening was the Garangao festivity, a traditional Qatari celebration for children, which imbued the atmosphere with an aura of joviality and nostalgia.
Dressed in traditional attire, the youngsters reveled in the festivities and received tokens of affection sponsored by Shine Gold and Diamonds.
The event was attended by Sameer, marketing head, Shine Gold and Mustafa MV, President of Snehatheeram Qatar.
The orchestration of the programme was spearheaded by President Tasleena Jaleel, Vice President Shifna Aboobacker, and members including Thancy ljas, Shamla Ali, Seba Asab, Firoshiya Razeel, Naeema Ali, Selika Amjad, Rabeeba Anvar, Shalna Sheji and Shamla Jahfar.
Several influential personalities from Qatar’s lnstagram scene graced the gathering.
