Majestic Malappuram celebrates Keralappiravi at ICC

DOHA: Malappuram District Expatriate Association Qatar – Majestic Malappuram – celebrated Keralappiravi (formation day of Kerala state) with several programmes at ICC Ashoka Hall recently.

The festivities, which started at noon with Onam feast, included songs by members of the association and dance per-formances by children. Various competitions were organized for children and adults and prizes were presented to the winners.

General Secretary of Qatar Indian Authors Forum Hussain Kadannamanna delivered the keynote address.
ICBF President Shanawaz Bawa, ISC President EP Abdurrahman, ICC Secretary Abraham Joseph attended the function. President Nihad presided over the event and General Secretary Vinod Puthanveettil welcomed the gathering and Treasurer Jitin Chakoth gave vote of thanks.

The coordinators for the event were Sandeep Gopinadh, Muneesh, Salman Madathil, Shafi Parakkal, Ashraf Vakayil, Sheethal Prashanth, Arya Unni, Noufira Hussain, Rafina Majid, Naseema Shafi, Jancy Rani, C A Salam, Ashique Tirur, Shafeeque Poolakkal, Dilshad Melattur, Sujeer and Abbas Ambadi.
