M.E.S STUDENTS OUTSHINE AT GUMUN CONFERENCE

Doha: A total of 16 senior students from M.E.S Indian Schools excelled in the recently concluded Model UN Conference organized by Georgetown University in Qatar Foundation, where 34 schools from Qatar and 26 schools from outside the country participated with a strength of around 650 student delegates. 

M.E.S delegation from both campuses, comprised of Aryan Unnikrishnan, Noel Mathew, Adeem Shiabuddin, Albin Thomas, Mohd Salim,Joanna  Mary Jetty, Annette Hannah Jetty, Savitr Sudheer, Sai Likhit, Anabelle Benoi , Heiza Nousher , Mitra Karthikeyan, Shruti Ganesh, Jacob Godfrey, Albin Abhilash Tom and Rabeeaman Achoth, attended the three-day youth leadership activity with zeal and enthusiasm. 

Savitr Sudheer, a Grade XI student of MESIS secured Honourable Mention award for his outstanding performance in MUN General Assembly as Namibian delegate. M.E.S duo namely Joanna Mary Jetty and Annette Hannah Jetty enthralled the international community of students with their rocking Kaavalaya dance performance.

MUN delegates from M.E.S Indian Schools were trained by Manmmadhan Mambally, Chief Coordinator for Students External Activities. Gunjan Chawla, Sujin S and Rayees N K, teachers from both the schools chaperoned the students during the conference.
