Doha: The first local camel race competitions kicked off on Saturday, the first event of the camel season for the year 2024-2025, which is held under the auspices of the Camel Racing Organizing Committee, a season that is awaited by many fans and lovers of the camel sport in the State of Qatar and abroad as well.
The competitions of the first local race will be held over 10 days in the morning, until September 30, in the categories of Haqaeq, Laqaya, Jadh’a, Thanaya, Hail and Zamoul, with two days of competition in each category.
