Indian Media Forum elects new committee

DOHA: The Indian Media Forum (IMF), an association of Indian media persons in Qatar, has elected office-bearers for the period 2025-26.

President Faisal presided over the Annual General Meeting held at Aroma Restaurant in Doha.
General Secretary Shafique Arakkal presented the activity report and Treasurer K Hubaib presented the financial report at the meeting.

Omanakuttan Parumala (Kairali) was elected as President for the new term, Shafiq Arakal (Mangalam) as General Secretary, and R J Ratheesh (Radio Malayalam) as treasurer.

Sadiq Chennadan (Malayalam News) is Vice President and Anwar Paleri (24 News / Flowers) is Secretary.
Faisal (Media One), Hubaib (Gulf Madhyam), Ahmed Kutty Aralayil (Desabhimani), Shafiq Alungal (Gulf Times) and Nisa (Radio Suno) were elected as executive members.
