IMF to organize Malayalam speech contest for students

DOHA: The Indian Media Forum (IMF), an association of Indian journalists in Qatar, is organizing the IMA Rafeeq Memorial Malayalam Speech Competition. High school and higher secondary school students in Qatar are eligible to participate, the organisers have said.
Students who wish to participate in the competition, which will be held in two stages, must register before April 30. They must register for the preliminary round by sending a speech video not exceeding 2.30 minutes, with personal information.
Topics for the preliminary round are ‘Malayalam Marakkunna Malayali (Malayali who forgets Malayalam’, India’s Soul, and the World of Artificial Intelligence. They can choose one of the topics.
Ten students selected from the preliminary round will compete in the finals, which will be held on May 31 at a venue in Doha.
