IEI Qatar hosts webinar on AI security

DOHA: The Institution of Engineers (India) organized an informative webinar on “Artificial Intelligence Security” for engineering community in Qatar. Around 100 engineers attended the webinar via Zoom.
Er. Abdul Sathar, Honorary Chairman, IEI Qatar Chapter, said the programme reflected the Institution of Engineers’ commitment to fostering awareness, education, and action in the domain of cybersecurity. “By bringing together experts, professionals, and enthusiasts, we are creating a platform for sharing insights, discussing challenges, and exploring innovations to strengthen our defenses against cyber threats,” he said.
Chief Guest Er. Ahmed Jassim Al Jolo, President, Federation of Global Engineers, praised the activities of the IEI and their contribution to Qatar professional community in various engineering disciplines.
Guest of Honour Thaha Muhammed, President, IBPC, emphasized the importance of collaboration and knowledge-sharing in navigating the complexities of AI security. Prof. Huzur Saran, Head, Bharti School of Telecom Technology & Management, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) – Delhi, was Guest of Honour and Satyavathi Divadari, Cloud Security Leader of India, was keynote speaker.
