IEI Qatar hosts seminar on sustainability

DOHA: The Institution of Engineers (India) organized a seminar on ‘Sustainability – A Myth or Reality?’ which was attended by more than 150 engineers.

Er. Abdul Sathar, Hon. Chairman, IEI Qatar Chapter, delivered presidential address and said the program reflected the Institution of Engineers’ commitment to sustainability journey and it has become a buzzword in recent years, often invoked in discussions about climate change, resource depletion, and environmental preservation.

Guest of Honour Er. Khalid Fakhroo, Senior Petroleum Engineer, Energy praised the activities of the IEI and its contribution to Qatar professional community in various engineering disciplines.
Guest of Honour Thaha Muhammed, President, IBPC said sustainability is very much a reality — one that is being brought to life by the ingenuity and dedication of engineers and innovators around the globe.
