DOHA: Grow Your Green Food Team (GYGF) members gathered in their communal farm area at MES Indian School, Doha, to officially wind up this season’s farming activities.
GYGF is an initiative by Qatar Chapter of Govt. Engineering College Thrissur Alumni (QGET) to generate interest and promote organic farming among QGET’s family members and the community.
General Convenor Dias Thottan, in his opening speech, thanked Anwer P.P, who worked for getting the area for communal farming, and also thanked Abdul Saleem Nechiyil and Robin Jose for their active involvement and passion in the communal farming activities.
QGET President Tomy KV presented a memento to Anwer P P, QGET Senior Member Mathew Francis presented a memento to Abdul Saleem Nechiyil and QGET Senior Member John E J presented a memento to Robin Jose.
GYGF Convenor Akhil C.K presented the time line for season’s communal farming activities and Abdul Saleem Nechiyil presented a summary of organic vegetables harvested from the communal farming area, which totaled 201 Kgs.
