Gaza residents with Qatar visas evacuated to Doha

EL-ARISH, EGYPT: A plane belonging to the Qatari Armed Forces arrived in the city of El-Arish in the Arab Republic of Egypt, carrying 41 tonnes of aid, including food supplies and shelter supplies, provided by the Qatar Fund for Development and the Qatar Red Crescent to be transported to Gaza.

That brought the total number of aircraft Qatar has sent to 76, with a total of 2,266 tonnes of aid. 

The aid comes within the framework of Qatar’s support for the Palestinian people, and its support for them during the difficult humanitarian conditions they are currently exposed to. Several Palestinians holding Qatari residency were also evacuated from the Gaza Strip to Doha.
