Dukhan Malayali Samajam celebrates Onam

DOHA:Dukhan Malayali Samajam in Qatar organised a function to celebrate Onam on Saturday.
A pookkalam (flower design) was prepared on the theme “With Wayanad”.

The organizers were able to create a true feeling and ambience of Onam with Maveli arrival, and traditional performances like Chendamelam, Pulikali, Kaikottikali, and Onam songs.

Onam feast, Onasadya, was served and a drawing competition for children also attracted attention.
President Rafiq, Secretary Philip and others talked about the importance of Onam celebrations for the diaspora.
