Drug Enforcement at MoI arrests Captagon dealer

The General Directorate of Drug Enforcement at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has successfully conducted a special operation leading to the arrest of a suspected drug dealer involved in the sale of Captagon, an addictive substance.

The arrest was highlighted in a video shared by the MoI on X, where it was revealed that the suspect was “caught red-handed” while conducting a sale of the illegal drug.

Following the arrest, the suspect has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal action, according to an official statement from the Ministry of Interior.

The Ministry emphasized its unwavering commitment to upholding the law, stating that it will continue to take all necessary measures to apprehend individuals who violate regulations, ensuring the security and safety of the community.

The operation is part of ongoing efforts by Qatari authorities to combat drug-related crimes and protect public health and safety.
