NT Bureau
DOHA: A Nepal Airlines flight carrying 265 passengers bound for Doha from Kathmandu was forced to return to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Thursday night 44 minutes after takeoff due to a technical malfunction, aviation media have reported.

The aircraft experienced low hydraulic pressure. The flight crew noticed a low pressure reading on the hydraulic system, and subsequently terminated the climb.

The flight was climbing to cruising altitude but subsequently terminated the climb at 26,000 feet.
Passengers were transferred to another wide-body aircraft and departed for Doha at 3 pm. To accommodate this change, two regularly scheduled Delhi flights were merged, reports said.
