Q Malayalam organizes Sports Day 2025

DOHA: Q Malayalam, a leading socio-cultural organization of Keralite expats in Qatar, organized Sports Day 2025, as part of Qatar National Sports Day celebrations.

More than 150 athletes participated in various competitions in four major teams, in which the ‘Killers Club’ team emerged as the overall champions.

‘Spartans’ was the runner-up, followed by ‘Falcons’ and ‘Fire Demons’, all of whom put up fierce performances.

Prizes were distributed to winners at a function which was attended by E P Abdurrahiman, President of Indian Sports Center.

Convener Dileesh, Co-convenors Mansoor, Ajaz, Shihaz and team managers Sitara, Shihaz, Shaan Riyas and Bena Najeer spearheaded the event.

Secretary Murshid Mohammed welcomed the gathering and President Navaz Mukriyakat presided over the function. Convenor Dileesh expressed vote of thanks.

Rijas, Rushara, Majeed Nadapuram, Hakeem, and photographers Abbas Ambadi, Abid and Ibrahim Orumanayur supported the event in various ways.
