News Trail, an English daily newspaper published from Doha, is set to host the EDU FAIR 2024 on November 22 and 23 (Friday & Saturday) at Regency Halls, Doha.

The event promises a comprehensive platform for students, parents, educators, and institutions to explore academic opportunities and engage in meaningful discussions about education and career pathways.
Several leading universities from India, including Christ’s University, will participate in the fair offering students seeking higher studies in India a diverse range of courses. The Fair will also have a several exclusive programmes, including a Principals’ Conclave and Educator Awards for Best School Teachers.

The Guest of Honour at the event will be Fouzia Taranum, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Kalaburagi, Karnataka, and a distinguished 31st rank holder in the Civil Services Exam (2014). Taranum will deliver two insightful talks at the event: one on Time Management for Students in Today’s Age of Social Media and Information Overload, which will be held at 5.30 pm on Nov. 22, and the other on Civil Services as a Career Option, sharing her inspiring journey through the UPSC exam, which will be held at 2.30 pm on Nov. 23.
With free entry, the fair is open to everyone on Friday, November 22, from 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturday, November 23, from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM, at Regency Halls, Doha.
Other key features of the Fair are:
NT Educator Award 2024: A prestigious honour celebrating the dedication and excellence of school teachers in Qatar. The best teacher from a school will be honoured with an award.
Principals’ Conclave: School principals will come together to discuss “A Holistic Approach to Inculcate Reading Habits in Students and Tame Their Social Media Impact.”
University Interactions: Students and parents will have the chance to interact with representatives from leading universities in India and Dubai to discuss courses, admission procedures, and career prospects.
Career Guidance Seminars: Expert-led sessions to help students make informed academic and career decisions.
News Trail will also honour meritorious students from various schools in Qatar and will organize student-centric activities, including Quiz Competitions and Talent Shows, during the fair.
