ICBF launches Career Connect in association with CIGI Qatar

Doha: The Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), in association with the Centre for Information and Guidance India (CIGI, Qatar), have launched “Career Connect”, a fortnightly free career and employability clinic.

Ambassador of India to Qatar H E Vipul officially launched the programme at a function organized at ICBF Kanjani Hall.

Indian Embassy First Secretary and ICBF Coordinating Officer Eish Singhal also graced the event.
The ambassador said Career Connect will be a great support for the labour community in Qatar, providing them with valuable updates and guidance on choosing the right career paths for their children back home in India.

ICBF General Secretary, Varkey Boban welcomed the gathering. ICBF President Shanavas Bava, spoke about the ICBF’s recent initiatives.

CIGI Chairman E P Abdurahiman, and CIGI Vice Chairman Adv. Issudin, who spoke about CIGI’s role and contributions to this initiative.

A nineteen member expert panel was introduced by ICBF Managing Committee Member Zareena Ahad. These experts will provide one-on-one career guidance to both students and job seekers, helping them make informed choices about their future career paths.

Appointments for these sessions happening on the second Friday and fourth Saturday of every month, can be made in advance.
