Qatar shares experience in training teachers on Artificial Intelligence

DOHA: The State of Qatar has participated in the international conference of UNESCO Digital Learning Week 2024.

During the conference sessions, Maha Abu Halika, Senior E-Learning Expert at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, shared with a number of experts in the organization the State of Qatar’s experience in training teachers and school leaders on generative artificial intelligence applications and its ethics, explaining the impact of these trainings on the school community and the learning environment.

It is noteworthy that UNESCO Digital Learning Week brings together experts, those interested in digital education, and policy makers from around the world. This week witnessed the launch of the general framework for digital artificial intelligence competencies for students and teachers.
