IPAQ organizes badminton tournament as part of Sports Fiesta 2024

DOHA: The Indian Pharmacists Association Qatar (IPAQ) conducted a badminton tournament as part of the IPAQ Sports Fiest 2024.

The event, held at Sherbon school indoor badminton court, brought together badminton enthusiasts from the com-munity to compete and celebrate their shared passion for the sport. The tournament was inaugurated by Sam Basheer, Chairman of the ICBF Advisory Board, who emphasized the importance of sports in fostering teamwork, dis-cipline, and wellness among participants.

Sathar and Akhil Surendran claimed the championship title, while Shanavas Badera and Shanavas Kozhikkal secured the runner-up position. Shakeel and Jamal were placed third.

Simultaneously, a women’s badminton tournament took place.

“The IPAQ Sports Fiest 2024 has set a high standard for future events, and anticipation is already building for upcoming tournaments,” the organisers said.
