Visitors flock to Souq Waqif Dates Festival

The 9th Local Fresh Dates Festival at Souq Waqif has sold a remarkable 100,984 kilograms of dates within its first five days. This announcement was made by Souq Waqif on the social media platform X.

The 12-day festival, which commenced on July 23 and will run until August 3, 2024, is open to the public daily from 4 PM to 9 PM at the Eastern Yard of Souq Waqif. This year’s event features participation from 110 local farms, showcasing a wide variety of fresh dates to visitors.
