The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has made it easier for customers to register complaints with the Ministry by launching an exclusive service for the purpose.

The Ministry announced that it has launched a new complaint submission service through its mobile application, under the name ‘MOCIQATAR’. The app is available on both iPhone and Android devices.
The MoCI has assured customers that once complaints are received, it would act on them immediately to bring fast justice to complainants.

Customers can now register complaints on a large number of services and products like prices, sales, products or services, and advertisements that mislead the public by failing to deliver what was said in the ads. The new service is meant to improve the quality of services provided to customers and also to ensure speedy redressal through faster submission of complaints.

Also, customers can also register complaints about purchase bills, payment methods, licensing, health and safety issues, and public order at the commercial establishments.

The public can also report cases of exploitation, misuse, and other violations that they may encounter at big and small commercial establishments across the country.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has been taking a series of steps to ensure protection of consumers’ rights and to provide the best services to both citizens and residents.

The launch of the new service is also expected to encourage commercial establishments to abide by the laws fully.
