Amir participates in SCO Summit; meets President Putin

The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Thursday tool part in Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit, held in the Kazakh capital, Astana, under the theme “Strengthening Multilateral Dialogue – Striving for Sustainable Peace and Development.”

A number of Their Excellencies, Heads of State and Government, and delegations, in addition to representatives of a number of regional and international organizations, took part in the Summit.

The Amir met with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the Summit. The meeting focused on bilateral relations and ways to promote and develop them in different spheres.
