No need for expats arriving in Qatar as drivers to undergo eye test

The Ministry of Interior has announced that the eye test service provided at Qatar Visa Centers abroad is now linked with the Traffic System of the General Directorate of Traffic in Qatar.

This will now eliminate the need for expatriates working as drivers to undergo an additional eye test upon arrival in Qatar.

This was announced by the Ministry of Interior on social media.

This integration ensures that expatriates who have completed their eye test at Qatar
The Ministry’s said: “The Eye Test service for expatriates working as drivers, which is provided at Qatar Visa Centers abroad, has been linked with the Traffic System of the General Directorate of Traffic, so that the expatriate does not need to undergo the eye test again upon arrival in the country”.
