The CISF security personnel seized gold in paste form weighing over one kg at the RGI airport in Hyderabad from a passenger who arrived from Doha on Tuesday morning, The Times of India has reported.

The passenger, identified as Pramod Kumar, was heading to the security check for his flight to Jaipur.
While screening his hand baggage at the security check, CISF personnel noticed some suspicious objects and set it aside for a physical inspection.
During the check, they found three capsules weighing 1.037 kg. Upon interrogation, he confessed that he had travelled from Doha carrying the gold and intended to hand it over to a handler in Jaipur.
The passenger, along with the seized gold, was handed over to Customs officials for further investigation
