Msheireb wins prestigious Green Apple Award for Beautiful Buildings

DOHA: Msheireb Properties has been awarded the prestigious Green Apple Award for Beautiful Buildings in 2024. The award recognizes the company’s outstanding project, “Transforming Doha’s Heritage Houses – Msheireb Museums,” noting its contributions to the built and visual environment and environmentally friendly features.

CEO of Msheireb Properties Eng. Ali Al Kuwari expressed his pride in the achievement, “Msheireb Museums exemplifies our vision of creating innovative, environmentally friendly spaces that honour Qatar’s rich heritage while embracing modern sustainability practices. Msheireb Museums are comprised of four carefully restored and transformed historic Qatari houses, preserving cultural heritage while integrating with the modern urban development of Msheireb Downtown Doha. The museums showcase Qatars journey from its roots in traditional domestic life, the petroleum industry’s pioneers, the Msheireb district’s modern development, and the histories of slavery both regionally and internationally.
