DOHA: The MES Indian School organised an in-house training session on basic hygiene practices for the canteen staff to mark Food Safety Day by the Department of Welfare.
The trainer, Praseela K A emphasized the need to maintain cleanliness and prevent the spread of diseases caused by consuming contaminated foodstuff.
The session focused among other things, on the importance of personal hygiene, including handwashing techniques, wearing clean and impeccable uniforms, maintaining grooming standards, the significance of pest control measures etc. Shiju Sebastian, Gincy Wilson and Praseela K A members of the Department of Welfare, coordinated the event.
