Eid prayers to be held at 675 mosques, prayer grounds, and Education City Stadium

The Eid Al Adha prayer will be held at a total of 675 mosques and prayer grounds across the country, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) has said.

The prayers will be held on June 16 at 4:58am, according to the ministry’s announcement.
Qatar Foundation has announced that Eid prayers will be held at the Education City Stadium.

“Members of the community are invited to the Education City Stadium for the Eid al-Adha prayer on Sunday, 16 June. With doors opening at 3am, the prayer will be held at 5am,” QF said in a press release.

The Eid prayers at the Stadium, now in its fourth iteration, is organized by the Minaretein Center, College of Islamic Studies, Hamad Bin Khalifa University– a member of Qatar Foundation (QF) – in collaboration with the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs.

Following the prayer, QF will host fun games and activities for children and families alike, such as balloon artists, face painting, and henna, designed to foster community and strengthen social bonds. There will also be a number of food options available.

The Education City Tram will operate from 1.30am to 9am, with parking available at West Car Park and Education City Hospitality Parking. Additional parking can be found at Oxygen Park and Al Shaqab.
