Two Indians die in traffic accident in Qatar

DOHA: Two Indians died in a car accident in Doha on Friday evening.

The deceased are Muhammad Tayyib Hamza (21), who hails from Vadakkekad in Thrissur in Kerala, and Muhammad Habeel (22), from Vadakkencheri in Thrissur district, community sources have told News Trail.

The accident happened near Mall of Qatar. The car they were travelling in overturned and both died on the spot. Three others have been admitted to Hamad General Hospital and their injuries are not said to be serious.

Tayyib is the son of Hamza and Ramlath, who are employees of Ideal Indian School in Doha and Habeel is the only son of Hamza, who is a businessman at Souq Waqif, and Haseena. Tayyib was working with the Qatar military and Habeel was a student of University of Doha. The accident happened while they were returning with friends after purchasing clothes for Eid Al Adha, sources have said.

The bodies of the deceased are at the mortuary.
