Qatari Hajj Mission obtains licence to open clinics in Makkah

The medical clinics of the Qatari Hajj mission in Makkah have obtained a licence to open them from the medical authorities in the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia.

A ministry delegation visited the clinics to ensure that they fulfill all requirements and arrangements necessary to obtain a license.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Hadi, head of the medical unit in the Qatari Hajj Mission, said the facility includes a pharmacy, an emergency centers for women and men, in addition to a patient triage center and isolation rooms. There is accommodation for men and another for women, ensuring the safety and health of the country’s pilgrims, so that they can perform Hajj rituals in the best conditions and under safe health care.
The medical staff at the facility consists of skilled doctors in various specialties, to provide comprehensive medical care starting from the pilgrims’ arrival until their safe return after performing the Hajj.

The head of the medical unit noted that additional contracts had been signed with the private Makkah Park Hospital, which is located near the residence of Qatari pilgrims, to serve the pilgrims in emergency cases.
