DOHA: Qatar Airways has launched a new gateway in Africa, connecting the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) with Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
The inaugural flight from Doha to Kinshasa landed at N’djili International Airport on Saturday, 1 June 2024, increasing the airline’s total number of African destinations to 29.
This new route will link Kinshasa to the world through Qatar Airways’ Doha hub, Hamad International Airport, which was named the ‘World’s Best Airport’ by Skytrax in 2024.
Moreover, this strategic expansion will enhance air connectivity across Africa, fostering stronger economic and business opportunities as well as cultural ties.
