Aryam had a life-threatening condition and urgently needed a liver transplant.

The four-month-old girl was admitted to Sidra Hospital, suffering from acute liver failure, and there was no treatment for her in Qatar due to the difficulty of her health condition.

According to her father, the only treatment that could have saved the child’s life was transplantation, but it was only available in an Asian country at a cost estimated at 42,000 US dollars, excluding travel, accommodation and other expenses. The family had lost hope as they were not able to raise this very large amount given their weak financial situation.

“When the family reached the point of losing hope in treating the child, God’s relief came from an unexpected place. As soon as some benevolent people learned of the child’s condition and her difficult situation, they came to her rescue and took care of her complete treatment at their own expense, which is what actually happened. The child traveled with her father and underwent a liver transplant operation. It was successful,” the report says.

After a short period of recovery, she returned to the arms of her family in good health, and a new life was granted to her.

“The father of the child, Iryam, thanked those who sponsored his daughter’s treatment, stressing that the amount of the operation was large for him, and his daughter’s life was in danger, and he would not have been able to provide the amount, which would have led to the young patient losing her life if it had been delayed too long,” the report adds.

He pointed out that the charitable efforts of the people of Qatar deserve all praise because they save many people in need, and those who are severely afflicted, and those in need, whether at home or abroad.
